Dear Friend! I hope that you can help us in our efforts, by donating an item(s) for our fundraiser. Labdara Nursing Home, the only Lithuanian nursing home in Canada, will be celebrating its 10th anniversary next year. Currently, it provides a professional staff for 90 residents in a culturally familiar and compassionate environment. To mark this special occasion, the annual Golden Gala fundraising dinner will be held on June 2nd, 2012 at the Palais Royale. The event will raise money to purchase electric beds and lifts for our residents. These beds and lifts will not only help our residents maintain their independence and dignity but also enhance their quality of life. On behalf of the volunteer Gala Committee, we sincerely request a donation for the Silent Auction. Silent auction items can be anything from gift certificates to merchandise. In return for your generosity, your donation will be recognized on printed materials and certainly appreciated by the entire Labdara Nursing Home Community.
